Halton Condominium Corporation 5 – Condo Refurb in Oakville
Project: printed pattern carpet & tile for corridor
Managed by Wilson Blanchard – Brad Wells
Halton Condominium Corporation No. 5, located at 212 Kerr Street in Oakville, was recently refurbished by CPL condominium design interiors. This condominium building, managed by Wilson Blanchard Management, was in need of new décor for their corridors and they contacted CPL to provide design/build services. With the help of a registered interior designer experienced in condominium refurbishment design, two designs were generated and presented to the Board of Directors and unit owners who were able to review and make a choice.
Once the votes were tallied and the final design decided upon that design was further refined and the project was readied for tender. After reviewing the submitted tenders, the Board decided to work with CPL on the implementation of the construction phase of the refurbishment.
Corridors were updated with new printed pattern carpet and new commercial vinyl wallcoverings. Upgrades to new energy efficient lighting and updated paint colours added to the new and fresh décor. The new tile installed on the walls & floors of the elevator lobbies provided an attractive and durable solution to a relatively high traffic area. Millwork accents and a new suspended ceiling helped provide some of the finishing touches. New suite doors, door hardware and co-ordinating baseboards completed the updated look.
